#8 Wire Mesh Hardware Cloth 1/8″ is the perfect size to use for screened bottom boards and ventilation covers.   The 1/8″ size screen is just the right size to allow airflow and allow nothing else to pass through the openings (critters and mice).   Comes in a bulk roll 24″ x 36″ for  project use (other sizes are available).   Can be cut to size using tin snips. The #8 hardware cloth with 1/8 in. mesh features a square mesh weave and is both lightweight and durable. This is an extremely versatile galvanized hardware cloth that can be used for a number of applications, including home maintenance and craft projects.  Hardware cloth is an economical solution that is easy to install and alter to meet your needs. For a larger mesh option, Meyer Bees also carries 3/8″ hardware cloth for hive and home projects.
